Sorbus aucuparia ‘Cardinal Royal’

With a more upright and compact shape than our native rowan, Sorbus aucuparia ‘Cardinal Royal’ grows to a height of up to 10 metres.  Its clusters of creamy white flowers contrast beautifully with fine dark green leaflets which in autumn turn to shades of orange and red in the autumn.  Further ornamental interest is provided by its large bunches of striking cardinal red berries.
