Salix alba var ss. vitellina ‘Britzensis’ – Scarlet or Coral Bark Willow

Salix alba var ss. ‘Britzensis, the Scarlet or Coral Bark Willow, is a deciduous, large tree producing coral red young stems.  Although it will grow to 10 metres in 20 years, it copes with pollarding or coppicing which will reduce its size but also ensure a new batch of colourful stems giving lovely winter colour.
