Prunus ‘Kiku-shidare-zakura’ – Weeping Cherry

Prunus ‘Kiku-shidare-zakura’, the Weeping Cherry or Cheal’s Weeping Cherry, is an ornamental tree celebrated for its stunning display of pink, double blossoms in spring. This deciduous tree has a graceful, weeping habit with arching branches that create a cascading effect. It typically grows to a height and spread of 3 x 3 metres.  In addition to its beautiful flowers, the tree’s dark green leaves turn vibrant shades of orange and red in autumn, adding to its seasonal interest. It is often planted in gardens and parks for its aesthetic appeal and its relatively compact size makes it suitable for smaller spaces.
