Sorbus ‘White Wax’
£75.00
As its name suggests, Sorbus ‘White Wax’ produces white berries instead of the characteristic red usually associated with mountain ash or rowan. A deciduous tree growing to about 7 metres in 20 years, its mid-green, pinnate leaves turn to shades of red, purple and orange in autumn. In spring, this small tree produces clusters of small, white flowers, followed by the unusual berries which tend to stay on the tree for some time, the birds preferring brighter coloured fruits.
