Sorbus vilmorinii

Sorbus vilmorinii, or Vilmorin’s rowan tree, is a beautiful, small, deciduous rowan which will grow to a height and spread of 4 metres in 20 years.  Its delicate, green, fern-like foliage turns vibrant shades of red and purple in autumn. In late spring, it produces clusters of small white flowers, which give way to rose pink berries.  Native to western China, Sorbus vilmorinii is prized for its attractive foliage and colourful berries, making it a popular choice for gardens and landscapes.
