Sorbus ‘Autumn Spire’

As its name suggests, Sorbus ‘Autumn Spire’ has a slender, columnar shape and vibrant autumn colour, its deciduous, pinnate green leaves turning shades of purple, red and yellow later in the season.  Clusters of white flowers in spring turn to yellow berries with red centres adding to its colourful appearance.  Reaching a height and spread of 4 metres x 2 metres in 10 years, this compact tree is ideal for the smaller garden or a narrow space in an urban landscape or parkland.
