Malus transitoria – Cut-Leaf Crab Apple

Malus transitoria, the Cut-Leaf crab apple, is a small, spreading, deciduous tree which can reach up to 8 metres in height and spread.   Star shaped white flowers emerge in spring from pink buds, followed by tiny golden fruits.  Its ovate, deeply lobed leaves turn from green to yellow in autumn, adding further seasonal interest.
