Ilex aquifolium ‘Pyramidalis’

Ilex aquifolium ‘Pyramidalis’ as its name suggests, has an upright, pyramidal growth habit.  It dark green leaves are glossy with spiny margins. This evergreen shrub or small tree typically reaches a height of up to 6 metres. Producing small, white flowers in the spring, it is self-fertile so bright red berries will follow in the autumn, adding ornamental value and providing food for wildlife.
