Ilex aquifolium ‘Handsworth New Silver’

Ilex aquifolium ‘Handsworth New Silver’ is a striking evergreen holly cultivar known for its glossy, dark green leaves mottled grey and edged with a distinctive white margin. This ornamental shrub or small tree typically grows to a height of  up to 8 metres. It produces small white flowers in spring, followed by bright red berries in the autumn (if a suitable male holly is nearby), adding seasonal interest and attracting wildlife. The dense, spiny foliage makes it an excellent choice for hedging and privacy screens.
