Fagus sylvatica ‘Dawyck’ is a narrow, columnar shaped cultivar of our native beech. Its deciduous, wavy margined, glossy green leaves turn golden brown in autumn and it will grow to a height above 20 metres with a spread of about 3 metres. It was originally spotted on the Dawyck estate in Peebleshire, Scotland, hence its name. This beech is perfect for avenues and specimen planting.
