Crataegus laevigata ‘Plena’

Crataegus laevigata ‘Plena’ is a small, shrubby, deciduous thorny tree, growing to a height of 4 to 8 metres. This cultivar is notable for its masses of small, double white flowers that appear in June, fading to pink just before they fall. Its glossy green leaves turn to shades of yellow and bronze in autumn, adding seasonal interest along with small, red berries.
