Bird’s Foot Trefoil

A member of the Pea family it flowers from June to September with brightly coloured yellow/orange flowers. The fruits are in long narrow pods that resemble a bird?s foot. A good nectar plant for bees and butterflies. Also a food plant for the Common Blue Butterfly and other blues.
