Betula pendula – Silver Birch

Betula pendula, commonly known as silver birch, is a deciduous tree native to Europe and parts of Asia. It is recognized for its distinctive silver-white bark that peels in papery layers. The tree typically reaches heights of 15 to 25 meters, with some specimens growing up to 30 meters tall. Its leaves are small and triangular, turning yellow in autumn before falling.
