A greenish-yellow, mid-season cooking apple, ‘Arthur Turner’ is also known for its stunning blossom. Its crisp flesh cooks to a sweet yellow puree requiring little sugar. ‘Arthur Turner’ is not self-fertile so will need another compatible variety planted nearby, eg ‘James Grieve’, ‘Red Falstaff’, ‘Red Devil’, or a crab apple such as ‘Evereste’ or ‘Butterball’.
