A late season, traditional cooking apple introduced in 1857, ‘Annie Elizabeth’ bears beautiful pink blossom followed by heavy crops of yellow-green fruit flushed with red. Its white flesh and sweet flavour makes it one of the best apples for stewing and baking. Partially self-fertile in pollination group 4, this variety will produce more fruit if planted near an ‘Arthur Turner’ or ‘Charles Ross’ for example.
