Acer platanoides

Acer platanoides, the Norway Maple, typically reaches a height of 12-18m with a broad, rounded crown. The leaves are large, 5-lobed, dark green in colour then fading to yellow in autumn.  In the spring, small, yellow-green flowers appear in clusters, followed by winged seeds called samaras. Norway Maple is known for its adaptability to different soils and urban environments, making it a popular choice for streets and parks.
