Pinus strobus, commonly known as the Eastern White Pine, is a large coniferous tree native to eastern North America. It typically reaches heights of 20 to 30 meters (65 to 100 feet), although some specimens can grow even taller, up to 50 meters (160 feet) in ideal conditions. This tree is characterized by its straight trunk, soft bluish-green needles grouped in clusters of five, and elongated cones. It thrives in well-drained soils and can be found in a variety of forest types, often forming pure stands or mixed with other conifers and hardwoods.
