Malus ‘Profusion’

Malus ‘Profusion’ is a deciduous ornamental, spreading tree, commonly known as a crab apple.  It typically grows to a height of up to 8 metres and is known for its foliage which emerges purplish-red in the spring, maturing to bronze-green in the summer.   Reddish-purple flowers in spring are followed by deep purple fruits in the autumn. ‘Profusion’ is a popular choice for gardens and landscapes due to its striking colours and relatively compact size.
